MSGI, Tampa Bay Company, selected to provide training to the Department of Defense Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP)

October 12th, 2005 Tampa- MSGI Corporation, a veteran and Hispanic owned company headquartered in Tampa, was selected on October 12th, 2005 to provide training support to the Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP), TRICARE Management Activity Office. The focus for TMIP is to support the Military Health System (MHS) Information Technology (IT) Theater and related programs and Medical Command and Control (C2) with emphasis on Medical Surveillance. “Through TMIP's Medical Surveillance System (MSS) and Joint Medical Workstation (JMeWS), Theater commanders can gain situational awareness for critical decision-making. Commanders are able to track trends, take preventive action, and keep their forces fit through the new ability to collect, analyze, and make use of collective medical information across Services throughout the theater in near real time.”
The estimated value of this small business set-aside contract is a minimum of $567,591.03 during the base contract year with 3 additional option years. MSGI Corporation will provide services which include specialized training and training development and evaluation to support the “Training the Service Trainer” Program. Since the year 2000, MSGI Corporation has been providing direct support to TMIP through a pioneering project with the U.S. Army, known as Military Communication for Combat Casualty Care (MC4). MSGI is currently fielding missions in locations such as Germany, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, and military bases throughout the U.S.
