MSGI, Tampa Bay Headquartered Company, Part of Team Awarded $117M U.S. Army Contract to Support MC4 Program Office
March 25th, 2005—MSGI Corporation, a
Tampa Bay headquartered company, is part of the team awarded
a contract by the U.S. Army to provide support to the Medical
Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4) Program Office.
MC4 Program mission is to develop, field and support a medical
information management system for Army tactical medical forces,
enabling a comprehensive, life-long electronic medical record
for all service members, and enhancing medical situational awareness
for operational commanders. The MC4 program provides fully integrated
medical products and information technology and communications
solutions that effectively and seamlessly link all echelons
of deployable medical care within the Army. The estimated value
of this five-year contract, if all options are exercised, is
$117 million. MSGI Corporation, an 8(a) certified small, disadvantaged,
veteran, and (Hispanic) minority-owned business, is currently
supporting MC4 fielding missions in Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, and
diverse military bases throughout the U.S.
MSGI Corporation will continue to provide fielding and training
to the MC4 Program Management Office for worldwide contingency
operations and services for any and all phases of the pre-deployment,
deployment, on-site, and re-deployment process to support MC4
system activities through this new contract. According to Angel
